Middle of Nowhere Homebrew Club uses modified BJCP rules for all of their competitions. We are a small club in an area with no BJCP judges but we have some great people who step up and do a great job at judging!
Brew Award winning beer, following the BJCP standards for the style of competition, if there is a bjcp style!
Bottle the beer, we need at least 5 - 341ml bottles or 3 - 500ml (or bigger) bottles for judging and sharing purposes during the event day!
Print a couple files from the files section of this webpage:
Fill out the entry form in full to the best of your ability. Fill out the bottle tags as well.
Using rubber bands or a small piece of painters tape, attach a completed bottle tag to each bottle of beer. There should be no other label or identifying markings on the beer bottles.
Box/bag up your entry and drop them off at 782 Tamarack Drive the night before the comp, or have them at the event 30 minutes before the event start time. If mailing your entries allow enough time to get your entries to Labrador on time!
Step Seven: (Optional but highly recommended):
Attend event, talk brewing with all the brewers and enjoy a sample of all the entries. Most importantly RDWHAHB!

Appearance of your entry is a great first impression so before bottling, use goo gone or a good long pbw soak to remove all old label residue from your bottles and after bottling your beer, clean the bottle well, judges will see your bottle and a dirty bottle is an immediate turn off.
